Sizes and aspect ratios
Poster sizes don't all share one shape. A design made for one ratio has to be cropped or rearranged for another, and a careless crop can cut off a face or a title. We plan the design for the ratios you sell from the start, then set each size so the important parts stay inside the safe area.
Resolution
Print needs far more pixels than a screen. A large poster at print resolution is a very big file, and many platforms set a minimum. We build the art at a size that meets it, and we tell you early if a supplied image is too small to scale up.
Framed prints and canvas
Framed prints lose a little at the edges under the frame lip, and canvas wraps fold part of the image around the sides. Each platform's template marks those areas. We keep important art away from them.
Sets and series
Wall art often sells as a set of two or three. We design sets with a shared palette and layout so they hang well together, and prepare each piece for every size.
Questions
Can you turn my photo into wall art?
Yes, if the photo has enough resolution for the print size. Send the original camera file and we will tell you which sizes it supports.
Do you include a white border?
If you want one. Some sellers like a border for a gallery look; others prefer full bleed. We follow your choice for each size.
